Keeping up the tradition
You may notice that there are 2 other schools in the picture of the winning gold medalists in 4th grade and no other schools in the picture of the winning gold medalists in 5th grade. That's how hard it is to achieve this level!
This marks the 25th gold medal won by a Butler team and the 9th time that both grades have won gold medals in the same year. This is a record held by no other Arlington elementary school. We're so proud of these hard-working students who gave up recess many days and re-read the books to keep up this tradition!
Butler is looking a little more golden these days...
The annual competition took place on Saturday, March 21, at the AISD Professional Development Center and both of Butler's Battle of the Books teams brought home gold medals!
